Bay Bridge Auto Body Limited Lifetime Warranty
Bay Bridge Auto Body provides this Limited Lifetime Warranty on all repairs relating to the collision damage documented on the repair order. This warranty is valid for as long as you own the vehicle and is non-transferable.
1. Metalwork and Framework
We provide a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all metalwork and framework repairs. This includes welding and the application of materials used in collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting, or deterioration.
Note: This excludes repairs involving existing rust.
2. Painting, Stripes, and Decals
We provide a limited lifetime warranty (from the effective date) covering professional paintwork and priming against peeling, solvent blistering, hazing, or fading. This policy excludes the application, adhesion, or condition of decorative stripes and decals.
3. Mechanical Repairs
We provide a limited lifetime warranty, from the effective date stated, on all mechanical repairs resulting directly from the original collision damage.
Terms and Conditions
Bay Bridge Auto Body will repair, repaint, or replace any items covered in Sections 1-4 when a claim is made while the vehicle is owned by the person stated on the repair order.
This warranty shall be null and void if:
- The damage results from unreasonable use, maintenance, or lack of care for the vehicle.
- The repair is altered, adjusted, or tampered with by any person or facility not authorized by Bay Bridge Auto Body.
Specific Exclusions
Incidental & Consequential Costs: This warranty does not cover towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation.
Rust: Surface rust, rust-through, and/or damage caused by rusting of interior or exterior panels is strictly excluded.
Transferability: This warranty is only valid for the owner at the time of repair. If the vehicle is sold, the warranty does not transfer to the new owner.
Customer’s Obligations
To obtain the benefits of this warranty, the vehicle owner must:
- Present the original copy of this warranty document and the repair order before requesting warranted repairs.
- Schedule the inspection or repair exclusively at Bay Bridge Auto Body during normal business hours.
Legal Disclaimers
All warranties implied by law, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby limited to the warranty period described herein and shall expire at the end of such period. This document contains the entire agreement and all promises for which Bay Bridge Auto Body will be responsible.
